Welcome to AIPDFAnki. By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Our Services

AIPDFAnki provides an online platform for converting PDFs into flashcards for study purposes. While we aim to make our services accessible globally, we cannot guarantee that they will be available in all regions. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of our services complies with local laws and regulations.

Our services are not designed to comply with industry-specific regulations like HIPAA or FISMA, and they should not be used in environments subject to such laws. Additionally, any use of AIPDFAnki that violates the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) is prohibited.

Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to AIPDFAnki, including but not limited to website design, source code, databases, and content, belong to us or are licensed to us. Our trademarks, logos, and other content are protected by intellectual property laws worldwide. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the content for personal or internal business purposes only, in compliance with our terms.

Your Submissions and Contributions

By submitting feedback, questions, or other content ("Submissions") to AIPDFAnki, you grant us the rights to use, reproduce, and distribute such content. If you contribute materials such as text, video, or images ("Contributions"), you affirm that these Contributions comply with relevant laws and do not violate any rights. Contributions may be visible to other users, and you agree to indemnify AIPDFAnki for any issues arising from your Contributions.

User Representations

By using AIPDFAnki, you confirm that all registration information is accurate, that you are legally eligible to use our services, and that your activities comply with all applicable laws. Unauthorized access, including through automated means, is strictly prohibited, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Purchases and Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express

All transactions must be in US dollars. By purchasing any services from AIPDFAnki, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date payment information. Prices and charges will be applied as indicated at the time of purchase, including any applicable taxes.

Subscription Cancellation and Refund Policy

Subscriptions to AIPDFAnki are recurring, and you will be automatically billed until you choose to cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account and going to Settings -> Plan -> Manage Billing. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

In most cases, payments for subscriptions are non-refundable. Due to the significant costs associated with AI services used to generate flashcards, we are unable to offer refunds. Our AI vendors do not allow us to reclaim the processing time used to generate flashcards, and this would result in financial loss. By signing up, you agree to waive the right to a refund for this reason. However, you can cancel at any time, and your subscription will not be renewed after the current billing cycle ends.

Affiliate Program

AIPDFAnki offers an optional Affiliate Program that allows registered users to earn commissions by referring new paying customers. By participating, you agree to the following:

  • Eligibility: Any registered user may join the Affiliate Program. AIPDFAnki reserves the right to approve, reject, pause, or terminate any affiliate at its sole discretion.
  • Referral Links: Affiliates receive a unique referral link. Commissions are only earned when a new user registers through that link and subsequently purchases a paid plan.
  • Commission Rate: The default commission rate is 20% of the referred user's first payment. AIPDFAnki may change commission rates at any time with reasonable notice to active affiliates.
  • Payouts: Commissions accumulate in your affiliate dashboard. Payouts are processed manually by AIPDFAnki to the PayPal email address you provide. Minimum payout thresholds or schedules may apply. AIPDFAnki is not responsible for incorrect payout details provided by the affiliate.
  • Prohibited Conduct: Affiliates must not use spam, misleading advertising, paid ads that bid on AIPDFAnki brand terms, cookie stuffing, self-referrals, or any deceptive or unethical methods to generate referrals. Violations will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
  • No Guarantee: Participation in the Affiliate Program does not guarantee any earnings. AIPDFAnki may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program at any time.
  • Tax Responsibility: Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on any commissions earned through the Affiliate Program.
  • Relationship: Affiliates are independent parties. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between the affiliate and AIPDFAnki.

Prohibited Activities

When using AIPDFAnki, you agree not to:

  • Upload PDFs or other content that you do not have the legal right to use.
  • Engage in any form of academic dishonesty through our services.
  • Breach or attempt to breach our security features.
  • Harass, harm, or offend other users or our staff.
  • Use the Affiliate Program in any deceptive, fraudulent, or spammy manner.
  • Create multiple accounts to exploit referral commissions or usage limits.

Service Management

We reserve the right to monitor and manage the content on AIPDFAnki, including removing content that violates our policies. We may also change or discontinue services at any time, without notice.

Privacy Policy

At AIPDFAnki, we respect your privacy and take data protection seriously. We collect personal information only to provide our services, improve the user experience, and communicate with you. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except as required to operate our services (e.g., payment processors).

By using AIPDFAnki, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take measures to protect your data and keep it secure. For more details, please refer to our full privacy policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, school name, field of study, and role provided during registration and onboarding.
  • Usage Data: Flashcard, note, and quiz generation counts; study session history; analytics and gamification data (XP, streaks, badges).
  • Payment Information: Payment details are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
  • Affiliate Data: If you join the Affiliate Program, we store your affiliate referral code, referral history, commission earnings, and PayPal email address for payout purposes.
  • Referral Tracking: If you register through an affiliate link, we record the connection between your account and the referring affiliate for commission attribution. Affiliates do not see your personal information — only anonymized referral status and conversion data.
  • Uploaded Content: PDFs and documents you upload are processed in memory for conversion and are not permanently stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain our services, including flashcard generation, practice tools, and study analytics.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To track and attribute affiliate referrals and calculate commissions.
  • To send service-related communications (e.g., study reminders, feature updates).
  • To improve our services through aggregated, anonymized usage data.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • OpenAI: Document text is sent to OpenAI's API for AI-powered generation. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
  • Email Services: To deliver transactional and notification emails.

Data Retention and Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your Settings page or by contacting us at infoaipdfanki@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data, notes, study history, and affiliate records will be permanently removed.

Copyright Infringements

If you believe any material on AIPDFAnki violates your intellectual property rights, please contact us at infoaipdfanki@gmail.com. We take such claims seriously and will address them as required by law.

Modifications and Interruptions

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue AIPDFAnki at any time. We strive to ensure that our services remain available, but we cannot guarantee continuous access, as we may experience technical or operational issues that cause downtime.

Governing Law
